Keenkut Products Inc.
KeenKut Products has been in business for over 70 years. Mr. Ralph Arnold founded Keen Kut in 1947. Ralph was the innovator of small diamond core drills as we know them today.
Frank and Dee Lenner, the previous owners, were with the company for over 34 years and dedicated and succeeded in making Keen Kut one of the leading manufacturers in the industrial diamond field. Keenkut products include, core drills, metal bond reamers, metal bond form tools, wheels DW8, plating wheels, form tools, plating reamers, slurry, shaping tools and water shrivels.
What is Diamond Tooling?
Diamond is one of the hardest materials on earth. Diamond has high strength and good wear resistance. In General, most of our tools utilize mono crystal or natural diamond grit for cutting/grinding materials such as: Ceramics, quartz, glass, carbide and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. However, we do incorporate polycrystalline diamond (PCD) in our shaped tooling which will mostly use for military or aerospace poly carbonate and composite material.
Why Diamond Tooling?
High grinding efficiency, Low grinding force: Less heat will be generated in the grinding process. This can decrease or avoid burns and cracks on the surface of the tool and decrease the equipment’s wear and energy consumption. High wear resistance: Diamond tooling change in dimension is small. This can lead to good quality and high precision. Long lifespan: Diamond lasts longer than other tool materials. This increases productivity by reducing the need for frequent tool changes and machine down time.
Core Drills
With more than 70 years of experience, Keenkut Products continues to develop state-of-the-art diamond drill bits for professionals and frequent users. Our drill bit range consist of four series. the revolutionary technology that yields superior cutting capacity. longer life and smooth rapid cut. Diamond core drills use a special blend of metals mixed with the matching diamond to form a matrix resulting in superior performance.
- Highly efficient drilling/grinding performance
- Applications from rough grinding to honing
- Wet or dry grinding operations
- Ease of workability for the operator
- Long lasting and reduce operation cost
Wheels
Our diamond wheels offer many advantages over other options, including a more aggressive bond, lower initial costs, high performance and long-lasting durability for extended usage. Our custom enhanced plating guarantees superior performance, and ensures that our plated products are able to maintain both their original shape and dimensions for a longer working life. The result is a much freer and faster task action and completion.
Metal Bond Tools
Metal fortified apparatuses are made from the sintering of powdered metals and different mixes with either Diamond or Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN). This procedure delivers an incredibly solid item that holds its shape well during use. Reasonable for all degrees of both wet and dry granulating from light cleaning to forceful CNC pounding Metal Bond keeps up a long and helpful instrument existence with a decrease in the recurrence of dressing. By and large, Metal Bond wheels have the hardest framework, in this manner it performs best in tasks under flood coolant.
